(Optional) Click in the Test here field and try typing some of the char-
acters on your keyboard that are unique to your language.

Choose Next to continue.
Selecting Your Video Card
In the next screen, you select your video card. In most cases, you don’t need to
obtain any technical information about your card, because the installation will
probe for the right settings and prepare the screen.
When the Select Video Card screen first appears (see Figure 17), an initial guess
at your video card is shown in the Card Type field.

To configure your video card:
1.
Choose Probe to refine the video card information shown for your
system.
If the correct video card is already shown, choosing the Probe button
should update the video memory and clock speed information.
A message box warns you that the screen will go black for a moment dur-
ing the hardware probing.
2.
Choose Probe in the message box to continue.
The screen goes blank for a moment and the same screen reappears. A
message box then indicates that probing is “complete and successful.”
